what should i be??

I will (FINALLY!!) be getting my license soon and am in desperate need of transportation on wheels. I really, really, really want a Jeep Liberty (preferably in a bright, obnoxious, unique custom paint job). My grandpa, however, has come up with the brilliant idea of fixing up my mom's old 1966 Ford Mustang.
Both cars have pros and cons and I am torn about which I should drive. So, I need the expertise opinion of Buzznet's users. =D

So, which car is best for me??

The Mustang picture is almost exactly what mine looks like.
The Liberty picture is the one I would get (if I don't get it custom painted).

*for the record, i do not really have a problem with my parents liking the same music as me. i just thought it would be cool to know what other people think. hence this poll*

unfortunately, my love of current rock music has not only passed onto my younger sisters but my parents as well. my dad is an avid fan of rise against, while my mom loves the all american rejects. but the list does not stop there, oh no.
so, who would you hate to discover that your parents love?
